Deidre J. Herbert (Retired) is a co-founder of McLellan Herbert Locke and was an ad hoc Bencher for the Law Society of British Columbia (Unauthorized Practice) from 1992 until 1994. She is a former chair of the Canadian Bar Association Wills & Trusts (Vancouver) subsection and was a contributing author to CLE’s Estate Planning and Wealth Presentation, CLE’s Annotated Estates Practice and is a frequent lecturer for the Professional Legal Training Program, People’s Law School, Continuing Legal Education and Pacific Business & Law Institute. She was a committee member of the Succession Law Reform Project British Columbia Law Institute, and a former member of the Vancouver Bar Association and the Trial Lawyers Association of BC.
Now that Deidre is retired from the practice of law, she enjoys spending her time travelling and golfing.
