Jamie Porciuncula is a partner at McLellan Herbert Locke and has focused her practice on estate litigation and elder law since 2012. Prior to being admitted to the BC Bar, Jamie practiced as an associate attorney at a boutique family law firm in Seattle, Washington, where she appeared in multiple levels of court, including the Washington District and Superior courts.
Jamie is a frequent lecturer for Continuing Legal Education, Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, and Pacific Business Law Institute seminars and most recently, has lectured for the Professional Legal Training Course. She is a contributing author to the CLE publication Annotated Estates Practice and LexisNexis Practice Guidance Canada – Wills and Estates. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Wills & Trusts (Vancouver) sub-section and Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia. She is recognized by “Best Lawyers in Canada” for trusts and estates.
